S P Jain's BBA Program is crafted uniquely in more ways than one.
The essential and distinguishing highlights of the BBA Program are listed here:
The most striking feature of the S P Jain BBA is that it is now a Tri-City program. Exposure to three continents, three cultures, and three very different (but influential) business centers makes this a truly BBA Program. In addition to the political, social, and economic benefits of studying in these cities, locating the program in major regional hubs helps students broaden their horizons and think innovatively and beyond boundaries. Students learn to appreciate, accept, and adapt to a multinational state of mind. The tri-city model is life-changing, and exclusive to S P Jain.
S P Jain offers a cutting-edge curriculum designed by experts and benchmarked against the world's best universities. Rigorous coursework ensures that graduates are thoroughly prepared with the knowledge and skills they need to excel as leaders in a global workplace. Professors employ a vibrant, interactive style of teaching in classrooms equipped with the latest technology. Course materials include books and magazines, videos, web resources, international case studies, as well as student research projects. Our teaching methods simulate the real-world work environment with emphasis on critical thinking and problem solving.
Students may specialize in either Marketing or Finance. The program includes several Liberal Arts subjects to impart a well-rounded education. Students choose courses from a menu of Certificate Programs such as a foreign language, negotiation and mediation, and innovation, which are conducted during the academic year, as well as through intense summer programs.
Another unique feature of the program is the industry interface Action Learning Project. Groups of three to four students engage with local companies to submit consultant-level reports and analysis. This offers students significant, first-hand exposure to the real corporate work-world.

Modern education has shifted from what you know to who you are, from obtaining knowledge to acquiring skills. S P Jain's four-year program focuses on offering a complete education to students, looking beyond typical classroom learning to building character and competency. The long-term objective is for students to acquire a deeper set of knowledge-related abilities and understandings that will facilitate a lifetime of growth. Our pedagogy is process-oriented, rather than product-oriented. Students are not learning facts and figures, or producing documents and presentations, but rather, mastering skills that are intended to make them, not just exemplary employees, but leaders within their chosen professions.
-
Character
S P Jain emphasizes character building throughout the BBA program. Students are trained to be professional in their approach to work and life. In addition to coursework, students engage in community-service projects which inculcate empathy, social responsibility, civic awareness, and citizenship.
-
Beyond Boundaries
S P Jain students are taught to think innovatively, globally, and to go beyond perceived limitations. The tri-city exposure, multinational faculty, diverse peer group, international case studies, and action learning projects with top local companies, help students adopt a “global mindset.”
-
Leadership
Leaders have many duties, but above all, must consistently make high-quality decisions, often under pressure. Recognizing this, S P Jain, implemented a major revision of its program with changes designed to improve participants’ decision-making skills. S P Jain emphasizes leadership by having students consider the elements of decision-making, and then re-enforcing this knowledge with exercises, analysis, and case-studies that facilitate practical application. Our coursework teaches leadership with a global perspective so that employees can think and act responsibly, solve vexing problems innovatively, and work collaboratively across diverse cultures. Students learn to lead, not just in business, but in society

Decision-Making
Decision-making is a complex exercise that requires recognizing key factors, gathering information, and analyzing situations and options (including risks and opportunities). This requires more than a thorough knowledge of management tools and techniques. Decision-making is cross-functional and cross-disciplinary, and must take into account the learning styles, skill sets, and potential contribution of team members, as well as psychological, cultural, and behavioral issues.
