Aptitude Test

S P Jain will conduct an Aptitude Test on Saturday, February 13, 2010 from 1 pm to 2 pm* in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune.

The test venue addresses will be available on the hall ticket.

The aptitude test conducted by S P Jain is intended to test a student's IQ, mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, English reading and comprehension ability. There is also a section on general knowledge. These questions are intended to test knowledge of current events and normal business awareness. The paper would be divided into different sections based on these areas. The test is for a duration of 1 hour. The test paper consists of around 40 to 45 questions The format of the test may change from time to time but the testing would be on the mentioned parameters. The aptitude test will be a paper based test. There is negative marking - different questions may have a different scale of negative marking, and this would be taken into account while calculating a student's score. We do not have sectional cut offs, we expect the overall score to meet our cut off.

** Please note that the SAME email id would have to be used for the entire process of registering and generating the hall ticket. For eg if you are submitting your email id: gmbastudent@hotmail.com at the time when you are filling in the payment details, the exact same id will have to be used at the time of generating the hall ticket and also each time you visit the apt test site as we will be matching your email id for internal purposes. If you submit an email id different from the one you are mentioning now you will not be able to register for the test nor generate your Hall Ticket.
 


PAYMENT
A student has the option of paying the fees by means of :

Pay Order (please note that we will not be accepting any cheques - even Mumbai based cheques). If paying by means of a PO/DD the examination fees will be Rs.2000/- and needs to be made out in favour of 'S P JAIN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH' payable in Mumbai only.
OR
Credit Card (has to be an international Visa or Master card). The fees payable would be USD 40. The above amount would be converted into INR at the prevailing exchange rate and would be debited to the card account.

We will not be accepting any cash payments.

REGISTERING FOR THE EXAM
In order to proceed further and take a venue slot, it is essential that a student have made the payment as the PO/DD no.(in case if payment is made by PO/DD) or Pin no (incase if payment is made by credit card) is a student’s ID for registering for the exam. Without this a student will not be able to register.

POST REGISTERING
Post registering for the test, a student needs to send the payment (PO/DD) with the full name and test venue written at the back to the S P Jain, India Liaison Office at the address mentioned below..

A student can register anytime starting January 22, 2010 until February 9, 2010. The last date for receipt of payments (PO) at the above mentioned address is February 10, 2010 - end of day. Please send your payments in a timely manner considering also courier/mailing time. We will be extremely strict where the payment receipt deadline in concerned.

BOOKING A CENTER AND GENERATING A HALL TICKET
Starting February 11, 2010 (2.00 pm), a student is required to once again visit our website, and book the venue for the exam. Only those students whose payments have been received will be able to do so and generate the hall ticket. A copy of this needs to be carried to the venue of the exam.
